Enjoy the best hands-on pasta-making workshop.
An amazing journey through the secrets of Italian traditional pasta making art: the best ingredients, the traditional techniques and the best tips to prepare the finest fresh pasta from scratch.

Learn how to get the best flour mix, enjoy creating your pasta dough and try to stretch the finest pasta sheets to produce different types of pasta.

From filled puffy ravioli, to small and yummy cappelletti, long linguine, twisted strozzapreti, you will see and produce all the different shapes and sizes that fresh pasta can have.

Starting time: 10.30 am        

At the end of the class you will enjoy a full lunch menu featuring a mixed organic vegetable salad, two types of pasta and a complementary glass of organic wine

Cost includes class, recipe card, pasta lunch, glass of wine.

Note: The class will be run by Alessandro Grisendi, the official pasta maker of Pasta Emilia. Alessandro spent the last fifteen years of his life learning and developing the Italian traditional techniques of pasta making within his family pasta laboratory in Reggio Emilia, the heart of fresh pasta tradition in Italy. He is one of the few still able to produce every single type of pasta just by hand, with simple traditional tools such as a wooden rolling pin and a board. His passion for pasta making along with his unique technique was able to add an authentic Italian flavour to the beautiful existing Pasta Emilia range. He loves teaching the secrets of Italian traditional pasta making art during the pasta classes organised at Pasta Emilia and also in the many local organic markets where Pasta Emilia is present.
