Among all the Italian regions, Emilia-Romagna is the one to thank when it comes to food. You may object that Italy got is culinary fame because of Napoli and its pizza, yet it’s from this northeastern area that most of the world known Italian foods and products come: tagliatelle Bolognese, lasagna, parmesan, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto di Parma.

This beautiful region – which stretches from the Apennine Mountains to the Adriatic coast, following the Po river – is the birthplace of many other delicatessen, results of fertile centuries of history and culture. It’s time for them to be discovered.
